Well, i was forced to upgrade my blog, forum and gallery due to security updates.  What I didn’t realize was that I would lose all of my custom formatting to those areas of the site.  I guess it is just a sign that I needed to update the look of everything?

It seems like ages since I worked with the coding, and it is driving my a little crazy.  I did manage to design a funky new graphic with embedded links but boy was it hard installing it on the site!  Blog and Gallery are back to a functioning state… store comes next and then I have to rebuild the forum.  Oh the joys of having a website…

On the good side, we are having a little heatwave here this week, so it is too hot to do anything else.  Got all of my baking done yesterday while it was still cool, cleaning and sorting was done on the weekend, so I can now devote my time to fixing the site and packaging up the new products.

Still running around in circles caring for my parents and my family, and will soon begin our shift of caring my in-laws for a few weeks as FIL just had surgery. I have moments where I am so mentally and physically exhausted, that I have lost track of the days and hours as each day passes. We’ve also been hit with a few unexpected things around the house, including more water in our basement from some pretty nasty storms.

The forum has been temporarily turned off for membership after I discovered people had signed up just to post spam. Nothing like hitting a person when they are down. All blog comments are also moderated thanks to some persistent spammers. The forum will re-open in a few weeks once life gets a little bit settled but membership will have restrictions.

I did manage to get a few more kits into the store at SBB. Just click the link in the sidebar. One of these days I will also get the newer items uploaded into my personal store, but I just don’t have enough hours in the day.

Time to sign off as we have to make another trip to the hospital tonight.
